MADRID:)

Madrid was a wonderful experience of enjoying the small outdoor restaurants EVERYWHERE and trying the different Tapas late at night:) We were 10 minutes from Plaza St. Ana that had +6 outdoor restaurants, a playground for Max and LOTS of people to watch so we tried it for 2 nights;) Suzanne and Erik went to the "Worlds Oldest Restaurant" right next to our Plaza Mayor our last night in Madrid and we got to babysit Max... who had already gone to bed:) Almost everyday we also visited a covered Market with many different tapas for lunch right next to our Plaza.... Our Plaza Mayor was like Disneyland: lots of people eating in the outdoor restaurants, buying from the costumed people selling balloons or just panhandling. Max really liked a person in a "Glittery Goat" costume but he was afraid to get close enough to give soome money... until the 3rd day when he finally did it:) Of course, though we really enjoyed Madrid... we loved just being with our family (and watching Max:) the most....we feel so blessed that we could all be together.
