FINDING FASCHING:)

This past weekend we had the adventure of finding a Fasching Parade/ Carnival before Lent:) Took trains to Nurnberg on sat. (it was the next day) and Wurtzburg on Sun. (pictures of crowds), drove to Spalt(had already happened but cute beer town with hop fields all around) and Georgesmund (children's parade, small and they had lots of "cowboy" costumes:) Wurtzburg was a very busy, fun parade (+2 hours!) with bands, floats pulled by tractors, lots of groups in costumes and everyone having a very good time:) Our town of Ansbach had a children's parade on Monday with the man on stilts costume leading the children through the Stadtmarkt (town square). It was as much fun finding the Fasching parade as watching it:)
