DOLOMITES SKIING:)

We can still ski.... and we didn't hurt ourselves, YEA!!!Over the Martin Luther King long weekend we went with the base tour to the Dolomite mountains of Italy (north of Venice). 10 hour van ride was not fun but the gorgeous Colorado blue skies and good groomed snow made it all worthwhile. The Dolomites are amazing peaks and are now a UNESCO world heritage site.... we had such a lovely view everytime we stopped to catch our breath. It took 3 gondolas to reach the top of Marmolada, the highest peak, and the steepness was scarey... but the groomed snow was forgiving, luckily:) So we will go back and especially in the summer to enjoy this beautiful place during that season!! Come join us;)
