New Year's Eve

We were lucky to be able to spend New Year's Eve with friends at Gwen and john Turchi's house in Lake Oswego. The group was great as was the cuisine....I don't know what John marinated the meat in, but it was delicious, as were the rest of the pot luck contributions. We closed up about 1:30 AM (2011!!!) and went to our daughter, Michelle's house where the party was still going strong. We left there about 3:00 AM and drove to the airport, where we caught the 5:30 flight to Phoenix, Philadelphia, Munich, and Nurmburg,followed by a train trip to our home...I don't know how long we had been up, but we sure slept that night! We've been gone from most of you for over six months now. It was the right choice for Kay and me, but we sure do miss all of you. We hope that 2011 turns out to be a great year for all.
