HAPPY 2011-3

After leaving North Carolina on 12/22/10 we headed to Ojai, CA where Suzanne hosted us, Michelle & Shams, Eva/Don/ Kristina Feldman and Debbie and Bill Underwood (God parents to Suzanne and Michelle:) It was hard for Dale and I to leave the Rhoneys but being with our kids was the best!!! All of us enjoyed the delicious Mexican Christmas Eve dinner at the Feldmans where Santa made his annual appearance. Everyone spend Christmas day at Suzannes: enjoying each other, having Santa and ending it with a great crab dinner. All of us were especially enjoying 16 month old Max. Watching him was all the entertainment any of us needed:) So for the week we ate, walked, chased chickens in Suzanne's backyard, rode bikes, shopped, ate again and felt blessed to be together!!! After the snow we'd had on the ground in Germany since Thanksgiving and since the week long rains had just stopped when we arrived in Ojai, everyone had fun playing in the Ojai sunshine!! The week flew by and then Dale and I left with Michelle and Shams to fly back for New Year's Eve in Portland....How could Christmas be over already!?
