GARMISCH

We had not been back to Garmisch since the early 60's and just had the best weekend rediscovering the area. The weather was sunny and mild, 65 today as we took the cable car to the top of Germany's highest peak, The Zugspitz. Our pictures are of the mountains/Zugspitz with our Audi in front of the new armed forces resort, The Edleweiss; a view of the mountain ranges from the top of the mountain and then the back side of the Zugspitz as we drove into Austria on the way to King Ludwigg II Neuschwanstein "fairy tale" castle. It reminded us again of how the Alps are an indescribably beautiful sight. Wish everyone could have been with us:)
