SCHWABISCH HALL

Sunday was a beautiful day...sunshine with a great temerature, so we stayed busy enjoying it. Went for an early walk downtown, washed both cars and decided to go visit a nearby town (and Castle). So about noon we headed west to Schwabisch Hall, about 45 minutes away. You can see the castle in the first photo, perched abouve the village. It was beautiful and interesting, as was the town. They were having their october wine fest and the town was busy with visitors...The second photo is on the river that runs through the town and the third photo was a striking woodwork in the church..if you click on the picture, and then again, you can see that it was made before Columbus "discovered" America. All in all a great afternoon, home for dinner.
