We slept in and then had a late breakfast before taking the hour drive (on the Autobahn) to Stuttgart to see the new Porsche Museum...I had been in 1976, but everything looked very different to me this time..The building is spectacular and the cars, of course, were wonderful. There is great history and engineering to be seen and lots of cars, old and new in four floors of a great spiral building. They start with the very eary cars and go to the newest models including the great racecars of yesterday and today. We drove our Porsche today, of course, and even had fun looking at some of the cars parked beneath the Museum in the parking structure. The car we have now is my 10th since my first one in 1970, a cobalt blue 911E....I remember it well. Across the street was the "centrum" dealership, filled with all of the new models, and the other way was the factory itself...
