HAPPY 2011

It is hard to believe we have been home a week from our visit with our family and friends over the holidays. We wish everyone a very special New Year and hope you can visit us this year in Germany!! Before we left for the states we got to see friends in Strasbourg, France at the Christmas Market. As you can see in the photo we had a fun lunch in the oldest restaurant in town with Sharon Starr and Lori Carlson...thanks for getting in touch with us so we could see you!!! Leaving Germany was very difficult due to the snow that closed all the major airports repeatedly... so we suffered cancelled planes and trains but were lucky to get out and only with a 5 hour delay to NC. The Rhoneys are doing great as you can see with the family picture....we celebrated Lee Rhoney's 91st birthday on 12/20!!! Had a wonderful party with the cousins and some of Lee's car and golfing friends. The weather was a welcome break from the snow and ice we have had in Germany.
