CABO SAN LUCAS OCT. 5-12, 2013

After receiving our household goods, including the Porsche, we only had a couple of weeks to enjoy the beautiful Oregon coast, visit with Michelle, Shams and friends before we began months of visiting family and friends across the country... October in Colorado Springs with the Moffat family, November in North Carolina with Dale's parents, driving across the USA to spend Christmas with Suzanne and family, and staying in the sunshine of California and Hawaii until ?spring.      We have had a time share in Cabo San Lucas for over 20 years at the Solmar Beach Resort and many wonderful family memories while playing there... so we decided to go visit again after many years away.   We had about 10 years of Spring Break in Cabo and a very special New Year's Eve 1999 with Suzanne and Michelle... watching  2000 begin from our deserted beach at the Solmar=perfect!   This time we had a good time together, but Cabo and especially the Solmar has changed so much, we were very disappointed :(    A high rise now blocks most of our view from our condo, there are so many more people and so much traffic and we were very tired of the "hassle" from the locals.....  We did go to our favorite restaurants:  The Office on the beach of the Sea of Cortez and Latitude 22 near the new Costco and enjoyed them as much as always:)       We will always remember our good times at Cabo but are not sure we will ever be going back.....
