SUZANNE AND FAMILY 8/23-25 2013

Tired from our flight from Frankfurt to Atlanta to LAX, we took a limo late to Suzanne's house in Ojai, CA.....we had arrived;)  The next day she took us to the port near Oxnard (top picture) and didn't the sunshine and California look GREAT:)  The BMW came through fine so we had wheels to return to Oregon.   We did have a short but great visit with the family.   Max celebrated his 4th birthday and we enjoyed a shark themed picnic in the park with piñata and all.  The family all went for a casual dinner at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa (our first visit...wow!:) and enjoyed the lovely grounds and golf course... we will go back;)    We then took off for Oregon and enjoyed seeing the scenery along the I-5 corridor north.  Had a great lunch in Medford with Susie and Richard Wright as we entered Oregon and then on to Seaside and HOME:)   Great to be back and it almost seemed like we were never away for 3 years in Germany....   The USA looks WONDERFUL!!!
