Moving In:)

We have been so busy moving into our new house in Sachsen, 5 minutes from the Katterbach base. The house is still being fixed-up as it wasn't lived in for the past 3 years (elderly couple have moved to a nursing home). But we did need to rent another POS (Piece of SH..) to help move things we bought from the previous orthodontist, new mattress' for the bedframe, all the things we have in storage or gave away in Lake Oswego: bikes, garden supplies, tools etc We love our blue POS pictured above ( I have my first German cut and color/ darker:)and it has been a great hauler during this moving in time:)

We went to two other Army bases today to see what they had in their PX's and ended up buying some more tools, some food items, a couple of new bicyycles, a new flat screen etc and then came back to the house to continue moving in..As homely as it is, the little POS did great and we were able to carry quite a bit. We met our neighbors to the back, left and right...seemed nice. I started planning for the stereo and TV etc and enjoyed the new air conditioner etc as well. Kay continued working on the kitchen. Tomorrow we go to buy our new mattresses and a new bed and perhaps a new living room carpet.. (we are spending money like there is no limit) The house is really shaping up so that you can come visit and be comfortable...The trip today was really great, area is beautiful and the temperature was much better..


Hope all is well with each of you...we miss Oregon, family and friends, but are having a great time here'
