COUSINS FROM HICKORY, NC;)

Dale's Aunt Margaret (Lea's sister) had 4 children: Rod (a few months older than Dale), Pat, Pam and Roxy. We have always enjoyed our visits to Hickory so spend time together. We just had a great visit with Rod, wife Tina, Roxy and Rod's daughter, Susan.... filled up the Rhoney B&B:) Rod and Roxy had both lived in Germany many years ago and made previous trips back... but hopefully this was the best;) Rod is a great "tour guide" and they had already spend time in Krakow, Berlin, the Rhine and Mosel river valleys etc before arriving to see us. We had a great time walking our little town of Sachsen and our larger neighbor of Ansbach before venturing to Schillingsfurst for the falcon show, Nurnberg on the train, second hand store in Roth and dinner in Lichtenau with it's small castle. The weather continued to be great and we even had our first dinner outside in our covered BBQ area. We look forward to seeing them in Hickory in Sept. and are grateful we could make memories together in Germany!!
