KELHEIM:)

Easter weekend we spent a night in Kelheim which is very near Regensburg and where the Altmuhl (from our area) and Danube Rivers merge. A beautiful day to take the Danube river cruise to the Kloster Weltenburg which has the oldest monastic brewery. YEA German Beers:)! From the boat you can see on top of a bluf as you leave Kelheim the cylindrical Liberation Hall built by King Ludwig I to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon... and the liberation of Germany. Lovely town;)
