MICHELLE: SALZBURG AND PRAGUE:)

We arrived to a rainy Salzburg on saturday, but still enjoyed walking the city:) It was great to see the statue of Mozart who was born here in 1756, the Hohensalzburg Fortress perched on top of the hill and the Salzburg Cathedral. We had bratwurst and beer for dinner (yea:) before finding the Saiten Sprung bar that looks like it is in a cave and has mountains of melted wax beneath age old candlesticks...we left Michelle and Shams there to party:) Sunday we were on the road early back to Nurnberg where Michelle and Shams caught a bus to Prague. They had a great 3 days in Prague seeing the usual sights like the St. Charles bridge but they also climbed towers (in their Portland Trailblazers shirts:) and went to interesting graveyards that we will have to go back and explore. They did have to come back to Germany a day early as there was a 24 hour train and bus strike on the thurs. of their return.... and friday we were off to the Rhine river:)
