DAD MOFFAT IN EUROPE:)

The last weekend of Dad's visit, 9/10/11, we drove to Speyer to see the Museum of Technology...planes, trains, automobiles and even a submarine!! VERY interesting and they had a Russian space shuttle too. We wanted to visit the Kaiserdom cathedral but they must have been having a festival as Dale could not find any parking... next time. Next we drove to Stuttgart to spend the night on base and share another Army base with Dad.... bigger PX;) Sunday we drove to Ulm. We visited the Ullm cathedral (Munster) which was started in 1377 and has the world's highest spire. It was so much brighter than during our rainy visit last year. We walked the Fisherman's Quarter with narrow alleys along the little Blau River to the Danube... very picturesque:) Now to start packing for our trip to NC:)
