DAD MOFFAT IN EUROPE:)

The week after Labor Day was spent seeing and doing more with Dad as we would leave for the States on 9/13... where has the time gone! Dad and Dale had to take one more ride in the Porsche as we usually drove the Audi on our adventures:) We went to Nurnberg to the German National Museum which was founded in 1852 and Dad could indulge himself as he viewed 9C silver/gold works, medieval religious art and wood carvings by Veit Stoss and Riemenschneider (1500). Had a great trip to Wurzburg to take the English tour of the 18C Baroque Residence of the Prince-Bishops which Dad had taken us to in 1960's.... then we only saw the 3 rooms that were original and survived the war....after 25 years of restoration we now saw so much more!! And on the way home from Wurzburg we finally stopped at the Colmberg castle for lunch.... our favorite:)
