HICKORY, NORTH CAROLINA 11/5-12/2/13

After 3 weeks in Colorado with Kay's family, being with Dale's parents and family was the best way to spend November....great fun, weather (the leaves were falling as you can see in the 2nd picture) and special times together;) We came home after 3 years in Germany to be with our families and this was the perfect way to rebond together... not the quick intense trips over the last 3 years.  Going to the country to see Tawanna, Jacob and Aunt Ann (100 years old in Dec.....top picture) was the start of a great trip... and it only got better as we went to lake Lure to see Roxie's new home, Raleigh to see Scott and Kathy for a wonderful Porsche event at the Art Museum and then Thanksgiving:)    Thanksgiving dinner was with Tawanna and family, Roxie and the Rhoneys and was delicious.  Scott and Kathy arrived the next day for more fun and a dinner at the local German restaurant.... bringing back memories of our time in Germany during high school in the early 1960's:)  It has been a Circle of Life to meet in Germany so long ago and now return after 3 years of living and working there.  We are so blessed that Dale's parents have done so well while we were away!      Lea and Lee are amazing as they continue to live in their home independently.... now to follow in their footsteps!
