CIRCLE OF LIFE:)

As we end this blog which we started when we left our home of 37 years in Lake Oswego, OR for
Dale's new job as a civilian Orthodontist for the US Army in Ansbach, Germany.... we can only feel how wonderful and blessed these years have been from 2010-2014.   It has truly been a Circle of Life for us as we returned to Germany where we met over 50 years ago...to returning to Oregon (Lake Oswego) where we raised Suzanne and Michelle and have so many special friends!    The top picture is the view from our beach house in Seaside, OR which we had for 25 years as our second home... and it became our primary home as we left for Germany.  The second picture are our friends from Japan (before moving to Oregon) where the husbands were dentists in the Air Force, 1970-73, and we had many Thanksgivings together as our children grew up... now meeting again in Oregon:)  The third picture of Michelle and Shams visiting us in Seaside and then Michelle was with us as we found our new home in Welches, OR near Mt. Hood...it is a blessing to have them so close and so FUN to be with!   The forth picture is Suzanne's sons,  Max 4 and Hawk 2, visiting Dale's parents in Hickory NC in June:)  What a wonderful visit for Suzanne and our grandsons as she shared her memories of NC ( Kool Park, Cooksville Grill, Lake Hickory and FAMILY:)  Lee (94) and Lea (89) are truly our Circle of Life...   The fifth picture is at Government Camp with Mt. Hood which is 15 minutes from our new home in Welches, OR.... how did we end up 1 hour from Lake Oswego???.... except it is so beautiful here at the "Mountain":)    The last picture is our recent reunion in Tucson, AZ with our classmates from the class of 1963 in Wiesbaden, Germany.... from all over the USA we gather to reconnect and remember... and be grateful for the LIFE we have been blessed with!!!
