TOMBSTONE & TUCSON, AZ DEC. 2013

 We looked forward to visiting high school friends in Tucson, AZ but are so glad we took the time for a night in Tombstone....we had a drink and listened to a local band in Big Nose Kate's Saloon, visited the Crystal Palace and remembered the story of Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and the Gunfight at the OK Corral;)  The second picture is Dale at Boot Hill. Tombstone was all our favorite memories from  western movies!    We enjoyed a lovely visit with Doug (L) and Bobbi Sweetland in Tucson and discovered the Old Tucson movie set where John Wayne made many of his famous movies and loved the Arizona Sonora Desert museum.....with the miles of Saguaro cactus.  Best of all was a lunch with these special friends from high school in Wiesbaden, Germany:  Rick (mid)and Eileen Vogel and the Sweetlands....

they will host a mini-reunion in Oct. 2014:)   Can't wait!!!
