WIESBADEN HIGH FRIENDS

We loved being with Dale's family in Hickory, NC for the month of November 2013, but we also so enjoyed reconnecting with friends from high school in Wiesbaden, Germany!!  Driving to Virginia we had a fun time with Penny and Alan Hissem (top picture) in their new home in the lovely Appalachian area of Nellysford..... they hosted our 45th reunion in Williamsburg:)  Next we stayed with Greg and Margie Bailey in the DC area... the last time we had seen them was in Garmisch, Germany:)  And they got us together with Jerry Sheetz and Nancy who we hadn't seen since the first reunion in Denver....WOW, that was so special to be together!  When we left NC to start our 2 week trip to Ojai, CA and Christmas with our family, we stopped in Walterboro, SC for a delightful lunch with Bobbi and Arnie Greene (3rd picture).... they hosted our 50th reunion in Charleston:)
Driving to Florida we spent an amazing time with Mike and Nancy Richardson near Gainesville.  Enjoying their dogs, cats, donkey, and goat and with moss hanging off the trees we were in a totally wonderfully different place......   We felt so blessed to have the chance to see such dear friends, remember the great times we had before; make new, special memories and look forward to the next time we can be together!!
