FAMILY 11/8-19, 2012:)

We had a wonderful time seeing our families in early Nov. and celebrating the Holiday Season early rather than fighting the crowds and winter weather in Dec.... next year:)  Starting with Suzanne and her family in Ojai, California with Michelle and Shams joining us from Portland, we felt so blessed to see our daughters and their families, our siblings and parents.... it was the last time to see my Dad, Harold Moffat, who passed away at age 92 on December 1st.   It has been difficult to be so far away from our families... the real Circle of Life with grandsons age 3 and 1 and Dads who are in their 90's... and each time we are able to get together, we give another prayer of THANKS for being with them!!!  After Ojai, we went to Colorado Springs to see my Dad, Sisters Kathy (Dick) and Shirley, and brother Harold (Jan).... what a treat to eat, drink and be merry with them:)  Dale then went to Hickory, NC to see his parents, Lee and Lea, with brother Scott and wife Kathy from Raleigh joining him.  While in Ojai with our daughters, we watched the grandsons sit, stand and play with the +90 year old chair from Granddad Lee's childhood:)   I got to stay longer in Colorado and am so glad that I had those precious days with my Dad and family!
