HAROLD MOFFAT 1920-2012

My wonderful father passed away on December 1 after living 92 very special years. He was such a loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather!! So many memories of family camping trips to visit museums, churches or a National Park, family reunions, listening to Dad sing, watching Dad build beautiful woodworking items and having him the best handyman at his house and our own:) How wonderful to watch Dad "Love On" his grand and great grandchildren!    Dad visited us in Germany Aug.-Sept. 2011 and it was a very special time for us.  We got to take Dad back to Wiesbaden where we lived in the 60's while Dad was in the Air Force.. and Dale and I met:)  We shared Rothenburg, Wurzburg and many places Dad had known from his earlier times in Germany and then shared new places... including the "Giant Pizza" place near us.  Dad picked Copenhagen to see again and we enjoyed the Viking Ship Museum, Tivoli gardens and eating herring:)  Dad returned from Germany very ill and was in the hospital/rehab. for 2 1/2 months. This was so sad and hard on everyone in the family.  But our Dad was strong and loved life with his family, so he came back to live in his own home with 24/7 supports.   We had many visits to Colorado Springs to enjoy Dad and the family including early November, just a few weeks before his passing.... meant to be that Dad had all of his 4 kids around him for one more time of being together.
