CESKY KRUMLOV:)

The weekend of Oct. 8th, we drove to the SW corner of the Czech Republic.... Cesky Krumlov is a lovely medieval town lassoed by the Vltava River. It reminded us of a mixture of Rothenburg (cobblestone streets/red tile roofs), Bamberg (water and churches) and Nurnberg (castle). Though the 2nd most visited town in the Czech Republic after Prague, it seemed less touristy and safer:) There was an event on the river with many rafts, canoes and kayaks even though our weekend was cool and rainy.... we have to go back in the summer! The castle overlooking the town and the narrow cobblestone streets with lots of restaurants and shops made it fun and very picturesque;) Only problem: being awakened at midnight by the music from the across the street "Muzik Bar";( We finally got dressed and walked the streets... had the whole place to ourselves.... the music ended around 4am! We are getting too old....:)
