FAMILY IN APRIL:)

We came back to the States for our 50th high school reunion in Charleston... but that is only a great excuse to see the family;)  Dale and I enjoyed his parents in Hickory, NC as always!  Lea and Lee are amazing and don't act or look their ages... Lee 93, Lea 88!!  We brought back some of the traditional green stem German wine glasses for them;)  We talked about our fun times not only in Wiesbaden but times together in Washington, DC, North Carolina, Oregon and even trips to St. Louis and Disney World:)   Dale had to return to Germany to work... but I continued on to Colorado to see my siblings. Kathy, Shirley and I had a "slumber Party" in Denver and then went to Fort Logan, the National Cemetery to be with Mom and Dad... a very bittersweet time!   It was a wonderful visit in Colorado Springs and always goes too fast:(  Then on to see Suzanne's family in Ojai... the real Circle of Life after the time at Fort Logan.   We just enjoyed watching and playing with Hawk and Max... such cuties!  Suzanne and Erik are doing a great job!   Michelle was not able to join us for this visit but we will be back in the States in August and then the visits will be easier, longer and more frequent, YEA!
