DINKELSBUHL:)

We had a lovely, cool day driving the Romantishche Strasse "Romantic Road" south toward Ulm yesterday. We lucked out and at Dinkelsbuhl they were having the annual children's festival commemorating how the town was spared from destruction in the Thirty Years (Martin Luther/religious war 1618)by the children...so the above picture are some of the historical costumes the present day children were wearing for a parade. Dinkelsbuhl is a lovely medieval walled town and was filled with mostly German tourists but we also saw a bus of Japanese:) Joined the line at the bakery and got a sandwich to enjoy while we sat in a park by the river and looked at the wall, old homes and people...saw 2 pugs too:)
