HLUBOKA;)

We left Cesky Krumlov and drove north an hour to the Hluboka castle... an 1850's castle built by the same family as the much older one in Cesky Krumlov. The interior was very richly done with dark wood carvings of walls and ceilings and beautiful furnishings. We passed by the town of Budejovice where the original Budweiser beer is made and in the USA they have to market their beer as Czechvar:) We do enjoy trying the different beers in places we get to visit...and I never drank beer at home:) We then drove back into Germany and spent the night (Monday was Columbus Day holiday for Dale) at the Grafenwoehr Army base. Actually saw a dusting of snow on the tops of the hills as we came through a lovely forest area into Germany... so the cool rainy weather is the start of the next season:)
