When we left Bad Kreuznach we headed upriver just a few miles to another Spa area. Bad Munster is deep in a cliff surrounding area of the Nahe with the same healing salt water and a beautiful little valley with several salt towers to make the salt air for inhilation. You can see one of the many towers in the photo above and to the right you can see one of the traditional buildings with the river and cliffs behind. We walked the park and town and also visited a castle on the top of the hill with a great view of the whole area. From there we headed west to the town of Worms with its old cathedral (in the photo above). This church dates back to 1181 and like most, is beautiful inside and out. On the Rhein river, its history is also connected with Martin Luther and it represents one of the finest Romanesque churches in Germany.
