MALAGA, SPAIN:)

We left Stuttgart for Malaga, Spain on May 19th for a week of exploring southern Spain=the Andalucia region:) Malaga is on the Costa del Sol that is so popular for the Brits and Germans that the entire coastline is almost wall to wall highrise resorts... but it wasn't high season yet so we enjoyed:) Had a great seafood lunch on the beach and walked the old town of Malaga. Walking town was fun as we saw our first Iberian ham shop (picture above) and had our first tapas (appetizer size food) in an outdoor cafe... we were in Spain!!! Though it was almost Hurricane force winds at the beach, we still enjoyed the warmer, sunnier weather! Like the rest of the towns we will visit, Malaga has a Moorish fort up on the hill, a Catholic Cathedral and a bullring:)
