KLOSTER EBERBACH:)

Last weekend, March 3, we drove to an Easter Market at Kloster Eberbach near Wiesbaden/ Rudesheim. We discovered last year that Easter is a very big holiday in Germany but we hadn't gotten to any of the markets..... now we know:) The Kloster is now a lovely winery near the Rhine river. They had over 60 vendors displaying
and selling hand decorated eggs. From quail to ostrich eggs; decorated with paper, hand painted and even with a pattern of holes made by a dental drill, the eggs were very special! We added to our collection with eggs decorated with origami paper and bought hand painted eggs for our daughters:) Of course, we had to buy a bottle of wine made by the winery on our way to Rudesheim for lunch.
